best advice i can give - check out these two sites - stevesdigicams.com, and dcresource.com - they have probably the best group of camera ratings and reviews. last, go to cnet.com - their reviews can be bunk sometimes, but what's good about them is they also show user reviews right next to the reviews they do - if you find a camera that's rated roughly the same by both cnet and the users, then that's probably a very good sign that the reviews are accurate.as an aside, i'm always a little leery when a company all of a sudden decides to start making something they haven't historically been known for.
