That is not a big problem but it depends on what kind of phone it is. If it has a sim card (ATT or T-Mobile) it is easy. If not then it is more difficult. Go to cell-unlock.com and they will be able to help you with it. There is a 25 dollar charge but it is worth it. If it is a Sprint Verizon phone just get a different one it is easier.
