Look, you have a sharp pain in your back? The area is a bit swollen? If you didn't know what caused this. And Advil or heat therapy (not cold!) won't take the swelling down--see a doctor.Always use heat on swelling. Ice will numb the pain, and reducing any immediate swelling, but heat works to get the blood tissue moving and activate to begin healing a potential wound. Go to the doc's if these treatments don't help. And yes I get back pains during PMS because I have been married for 15 years. Trust me, I know my wife better than I know myself.
