My 2G iphone's screen keeps turning white. ?

My iphone is a 2g and jail broken for tmobile so.. there goes the warranty. My phone keeps turing white and then ill jiggle it around a little and it will basically restart (show black background w/white apple, then home screen). I am not sure if my phone is basically dead, or if there is something i can do. any help would def. be appreciated! thank you!!!
