I have Tmobile. If I got an unlocked iPhone, how would I get internet thru Tmobile?

I currently have the Blackberry Pearl. Would I just keep the internet through Tmobile and that would give me the same access as AT&T users with the iPhone? Hope I make sense. Could somebody fill me in? Especially the Tmobile users who have the iPhone. Please?? Thank you!!!
