no dont do this. the sidekick only works for t-mobile, you can get it unlocked but onl for the phone, not texting or internet, the thing is that the sidekicks internet is used through a company called Danger and the internet uses Dangers server that only t-mobile has access to. so if you get it unlocked the internet will not work because you aren otu sing the t-mobile service to connect to Dangers servers.bottom line: texting and internet on a Sidekick is ONLY for T-mobile or any authorized dealers like SunCom but AT&T does not sell sidekicks so they dont have access to dangers serers to connect to the internet
