What does it mean to us users?Once the developers have done their thing and Apple have launched the App Store on iTunes (not gonna be available for a few months) it means...- Professionally developed games and apps will be available for your iPhone / iPod Touch. Which means they'll have to pass a quality assurance test before Apple will make them available to us.- These games and apps will be stored and installed on your iPhone / iPod Touch. This will be an issue to us because they'll take up memory space that we use for music, video, tv shows and movies etc. - You'll not necessarily need to use the iPhone data connection or iPod Touch wi-fi connection to use these apps. Unless of course there is a specific feature that requires a connection, built in to the app/game. This is great for iPod Touch users that can struggle to find a wi-fi connection while they're out and about.- These apps and games will be available for purchase via the App Store in iTunes.- Developers can also choose to offer them to you free via iTunes. Which is cool because you can expect developers of multiple apps and games to offer at least one of them free so you get a taste of the quality they can produce.
