The iPhone is pretty difficult to unlock. A few people have managed to get it unlocked, but Apple and AT&T started pursuing those people with lawsuits. Even if you can get the iPhone unlocked, it can't be activated to Sprint service. The iPhone is made for GSM networks. Sprint uses a CDMA network. The two technologies are not compatible with one another. It would be like putting a Toyota engine into a Ford. It's not going to work.EDIT:
http://blogs.pcworld.com/staffblog/a...005210.htmlThe first unlocked iPhone took two months and required modification of the hardware. Yep. It sure looks like Apple and AT&T designed it to be unlocked easily. Also, who cares what lawsuits happen in Europe? They have a different law system, and they don't have the FCC to deal with. If it was against the law to have phones that only worked with one network, Verizon wouldn't be a company today. They would have gone bankrupt from lawsuits the day they formed.
