...accounts to ATT? I was wondering if anyone has been charged a cancellation or late fee by Cingular when the merger occurred. I was charged a HUGE fee (we're talking a fee for each line on my account) when Cingular sold the accounts to ATT. Anyone else had this happen?

Not Me! But they stuck a $4.00 per month charge for roadside assistance service I never ordered. Reminds me I need to call them to straighten it out.

This should not have happened, from what I can tell (as long as you paid your bill on time each month). I would call Customer Care immediately to get this straightened out. PS- Cingular didn't sell anything to ATT Mobility, they are and for this merger always have been the exact same company. Nothing changed but the name.

No, did you end your contracts early right before the switch?

that is not a legit charge! They can not charge you a fee for a change THEY brought on. Call and dispute. They can only charge you an early termination fee if YOU cancel service!!!
