haven't heard much about verizon but i have heard a LOT of people complain about AT&T, which is sad cuz it used to be great about 20 years ago.

Verizon: CDMA (which means you can't unlock your phone), Cheap texting, less minutes, Low signal in odd placesAT&T: Horrible Signal, Expensive texts, A bit more minutes, but they do have cool phones. Go with Verizon.

Att. You get the free moble to moble calling, nights & weekends & also the rollover minutes. The service you get from them is great(I've been with them since 1999.)Also,the national plan (all over the USA) covers everywhere. Long distance is a part of the plan (It's just minutes that's counted)& there is no roaming charges. So it doesn;t matter where you go or who you call where, You just get charged for the minutes that you use.The service has been great through all of the years(since1999) & still is.

Cingular/AT&T claims to have better service, but I don't think it's true... it's what I've always had and it's not the best.I've never used Verizon, but I'm guessing it has better service.

I have Verizon, but I think AT&T might have a better coverage. (If that's the most important thing to you) . I used to work in this small town, but lived in the city and they didn't have Verizon so I was always roaming and getting lost calls. It was pretty annoying.

verizon. you get unlimited txtin to all verizon customers and unlimited calling to verizon customers. basically everyone has verizon so you dont have to worry about overages cuz everyone you talk to has verizon. they also have great signal service.
