Well, technically, it's never REALLY gone away, as men are required to register upon turning 18. That said, it should go both ways, and not be required for men, and optional for women.

Anywoo..... kinda late to be asking this, isn't it? I mean, it was eight years ago. And wasn't the War on Terror declared over a couple months back? Then there's also the fact that really, not many troops are really needed for what needs to be done. Special Forces are supposed to be special for a reason.
