AIM on blackberry?

how can i sign on aim with my blackberry 8100?do i need to have the internet plan to be able to sign on?if i have the text messaging plan, do i have to pay additional for sending or recieving messages?so i have to pay extra even if i have the text message plan?

It doesn't cost as the internet plan...it cost as the text messaging plan. That's how it works on my phone so I'm sure its the same for your blackberry.
