My blackberry pearl has white lines across the bottom of the screen?

at first it was just a couple of lines but not it coveres almost half of the screen?is there anything i can do besides taking it back to the store or something?also, i have tried takinng out the battery for as long as 20 minutes and the sim card

it's a defect you have to take it back it only gets worse.

hmmm Im not sure what that is its probably a defect or did u drop it or something? I have never heard of white lines across the screen before yeah u probably should take it in sorry but I do like your phone its cool isnt it oh yeah maybe try to reset it or take the battery out and put it back in that might work well at least it has a big screen
