had to surrender when I lost my job? I set up the receipt of Yahoo e-mails on my BlackBerry itself, and cannot find anything in Yahoo Mail to stop that from happening.

You have to stop it on the Blackberry itself. My work email goes to my Blackberry and when we changed email hosts, the change had to be made by me on the handset.

If you change the password to your yahoo account, the blackberry will not be able to access your account.
