It depends which network you are using. I prefer phones from HTC (t mobiles company) because most of them have WiFi capability. I currently use a dash, and it has a nice screen, wonderful speaker (if you want to listen to music), an MP3 Player, and runs on windows mobile 6. This means you can compose Microsoft word, and excel documents, and watch powerpoint slide shows. You can also view PDF files, and download Java applications. All in all, Dash is a great phone, and I am 100% satisfied with mine. (Oh yeah, and internet explorer is amazing on it too!)
