putting songs onto the blackberry curve 8310 with sd card?

so i have the sd card and it connected to the computer. i have a mac, i dragged the songs in but why wont it show on my phone? where do i go to listen to these songs, just go to media then songs? is there a specific setting that the media card setting on the phone has to be on? please help!!! thanks.

You have to format the media card. Put the card in the phone.. What you do is go to the main menu, go to options, select media card, push the button with the blackberry logo and select format card.

It will delete anything on the card, but it'll allow you to use it with your phone. Next time you connect the card to the computer, there will be a separate folder for your music. Click and drag the music to that folder and it will be in the correct place on your phone.
