I am upgrading within a week with Verizon and I am stuck between these 2 phones. Anyone have either of these, and if so can you give me some reviews? Also, if you have the Versa and keep the QWERTY keyboard on it, how do you make calls? (sounds stupid, I know, but I don't want to look like an idiot talking on the phone with the keyboard open and in front of my face). Any advice and help would be greatly appreciated in my decision making.

id go with the blackberry curve or if you want a touchscreen the blackberry storm. the lg versa doesnt have a very good touchscreen like the blackberry storm and the blackberry curve is going to be replaced soon because its pretty old. if you dont want the blackberry storm then the blackberry tour which is coming out in mid july i think looks really cool. its an updated and better version of the blackberry storm

I had the same choice and I went with the LG Versa. I liked how the phone was a touch screen and is easy to use. With all blackberries, you also have to pay a $15 a month fee for internet (this is NOT optional). And on the Versa, you can make your call and close the phone, and it does not end the call. Another reason I got the Versa was that with the Curve, each text message can only have 160 characters in it. The Versa also has an awesome speaker on the back. The only downside to the Versa is the fact that it has a 2.5 mm headphone jack, while the Curve has a 3.5mm headphone jack.
