It does sound like you'll want to reload the software on the BlackBerry. You'll need to download the latest version from your carrier's website, then use the Application Loader wizard in the Desktop Manager software to do a fresh installation. That should fix up your problem. Doing the reload is a relatively complicated procedure, especially if you've never done it before, so I recommend calling into your carrier's technical support line so they can walk you through it.
