I set up my email today and now every time i get an email i also get a text message how do i turn off this feature

I'm not sure how to turn it off per se but I can tell you what I did and it made things more bearable.Go to the messages folder, press menu, options, general options, and set "SMS and Email messages" to separate. This will create a stand alone icon for sms and mms.Then you can select the messages folder (not open it just select) press the left button next to talk and choose hide. Then that folder will not show any longer.I always go to [url]www.blackberryforums.com[/url] when I have questions about how to do things, I can usually find good answers there. Enjoy your new phone.
