internet connection as well? i am gettin a new laptop for x-mas and i was wundering if its just for bluetooth.

Although they are both usb adapters, they are completely different. You can't use a bluetooth adapter for the internet, as your router will not support it. Your computer specifications should specify if it is a wireless adapter (a/b/g/n) or a bluetooth.
