My vodafone myc5 its screen is very dark and i cannot see it in sunshine...

...light, how do i fix it please? Also, how do i turn the greeting sound off when it first switches on? And also, how come voda keep saying mt calling credit is running low and that i should arrange a topup, when it never falls below £2?
