I don't want to pay over $50 on new batteries. I think that is ridiculous. I'm not too happy that Panasonic is doing this.

The Canon does slow mo up to 60fps - from what i understand and the low light performance is slightly better.































I want to film mainly action type footage where in cases the slow motion may be handy. On the otherhand i have always done slow motion using Sony Vegas. As the Canon only goes to 60fps there may not be that much gained.

These two cameras have all of that, ranging from 10 - 12x zooms, and reportedly good video recording for these types of cameras.
