<title>is there Java Compiler that can be run on a Symbian Phone?</title>
			<link>http://forum.bicellphone.com/symbian/46513.htm</link>

<description>Hi, I have a Nokia E71 - a Symbian Phone. I almost do everything in this phone already... I have installed and Run Apache-PHP-Mysql on this phone.. I have installed Python modules and editors... and I have a text editor too...

The only thing that I want is to try learning Java Programming. Right now, I can try making Java program scripts using my text editor. However, I would want to test the scripts out if they are working or not. My recourse at the moment is to upload the scripts on a website and have them compiled.

Is there a port or program that can be installed on my Symbian Phone that would compile them locally? I heard that there is a program called jcompile but it only runs on Sony Ericson P800... is there another one out there that can run on Nokia E71? Thanks.</description>
