HTC's Diamond (aka Ipod KILLER)?

Is HTC's new Diamond mp3 player made or have anything to do with Microsoft? I went to their site and saw the Microsoft start bar at the top and was wondering if maybe Microsoft decided to endorse them instead of creating a new Zune.

why spend money on an ipod when you can get it for free? just go to this site and complete a few quick tasks and they'll send you one!
