hey i just got my HTC dash and it says charge for 12 hours then it gets to the main screen and shuts off also can i mess around and text on it and stuf wen im charging it also dont say look in the manual cuz from where i ordered it it dint come wit any so ya just simply answer with out being mean lol no im just kidding just tell me if i have to wait that long and if i can text on it while charging

You don't have to wait 12 hours for it to charge. Just wait until the screen says its done charging or the charging light goes off. Then play around with it all you want.

I usually charge my cell phone every night before I go to bed. Mostly of the time it can be charged for about 7 to 8 hours at least, maybe less, it depends what kind of battery you have.
