Default how do you remove plate covering sim card on sprint htc touch?

i also want to know can a sim card somehow be used if i get the cover off

You really shouldn't try to pry that cover off, you'll end up hurting your phone and voiding the warrenty. If you did try to use a sim card in a Sprint phone here in the US it wouldn't work on the network anyway.

i just got the phone today....you have to take the back off then pull the metal clip out then down....it may look like it is breaking just take your time and do it easily. i have sprint and they dont use sim cards...but, to answer your question, no, there is no space for a sim card. the slot that is in the side is for a memory card.

Ok, listen to me, it's really not that hard. Turn the phone over, upside right, put left thumb on the middle of the plate and your right on the bottom of the plate (very bottom where it curves). Then push up.
