I'm having problems installing "HTC Task Manger v2.0" to my Tilt.?

I downloaded it straight to my phone...it does the installing stuff...then says it needs to restart to apply it...it shuts off...turns back on and nothing happens. Someone please help me....it's driving me crazy and I don't think I will sleep tonight if I don't figure it out.
