I've played around with the touch before. flipping through the menus and actually dialing out a number is okay, but i see that you text alot and this phone is not really texter friendly... if I were you, I would get the Mogul, which is also by HTC and through sprint. it has a slide-out qwerty keyboard, touch-screen and camera. one of my coworkers has it and he loves it. as for how much a new phone, whether you choose the touch or another phone, would cost you, it depends on whether or not you are eligible for a $75 or $150 upgrade. you can see for yourself on sprint.com by clicking on "upgrade eligibility" in the lower right hand corner of the main page. you'll just need to type in your 10-digit phone number.for your plan, that all depends on what you want on your plan like data and number of minutes.
