the jack inside your phone could be yanked off the circuit board, so when you plug it in the electricity is going through the charger jack but the wire from the charger jack isnt touching anything, so the electricity is going into thin air...if you have a warranty on the phone, get it fixed, if not you'll need to sauder the wire back onto the circuit board.
