I have the new Kyocera lingo & I'm having trouble getting the ringtones I download...

...2 assign to a contact.? I will send a ringtone to my phone via text message. I'll save that ringtone in my saved sound folder but when I try to use that ringtone to assign it to a contact, the option to assign it is not there. Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong????
