I have a Virgin Mobile Kyocera TNT. How do I unlock the data port so I can...

...connect to my PC? I'm trying to connect my new phone to BitPim, and I have the USB cable, Curitel drivers, etc but I think Virgin locked the data port. Is there a code or even a hardware hack to unlock it so it can communicate with my PC?
