I have a Virgin Mobile phone called the Kyocera X-tc, how can I get my mmc to...

...load the music to my phone? I bought the phone yesterday and followed it's instructions on how to format the card. I loaded music from my computer (mp3 files) and saved them to the card. I put the card back in the phone, but nothing happened. It shows that some of the memory on the card is being used, but it says that there are no files in the media player.
