...it's not working.? It's equipped with one scanner and one printer ethernet port. behind is a network outlet (a second one to be installed) that would link it to the main server of 7 computers already connected to it. When i connected just the scanner port to the wall jack, it was not detected on the windows xp computers. what am i doing wrong and how do i obtain the IP address of the machine? manuals are no help whatsoever.

it sounds like you have alot going on there 1st stop beating your head aginst the wall go out side and get some air. did the printer come with a set up disk? as much as u hate 2 take anther look at the manual using the kiss policy good luck .joe
