I just got this phone today and am assigning my ring tones. I was wondering if a contact could have different ring tones for an incoming call and a text message? My old phone could do this and it was about 3 years old. I've tried reading the manual, and while the phones get more complicated, the manuals get thinner. If anyone can help, I'd appreciate it.All I want is for my husband to have the same ring tone, whether he calls or texts. I can't find a way to do that. It's his tone when he calls, but all texts, regardless of who sends it, have one tone.

if you go to menu- tools-voice command-then go through the "train" and repeat the words/numbers options. Once the phone has been "trained" to your voice you can go into announce alert and make your choice to have voice alert. this will then speak to you when the phone rings- it will say call from or message recieved from- then name of contact or number it came from. it is a real nice feature- alot easier then tryiing to remember what ringtone goes with who!click into your contacts- click on contact name- hit view- hit options go to set ringtone!!!-
