how do i connect diplay from my hp lap-top to my lg tv through s video?

i have called the lg help desk but they have not been able to help and before givin up, i thought it did be good to ask on yahoo answers

Did they give up or did you?Assuming you have S-Video output on your laptop and an input on your TV. Plus the S-Video into your laptop and into your TV.Set your laptop to output to an external display, usually Fn + another key.Set your TV to S-Video.Pretty simple.
