Okay I got a LG CU500 and I would like to use some of my mp3 songs as ringtones, BUT the files seem to be too big. I wanted to know if anyone knew in general, or even better for this phone what the largest size file the phone can handle as a ringtone. I couldnt seem to find this information in my booklet.ThanksI have to disagree with LG phones not being good, this is my third and I have loved all, I tried going to Nokia and it was crap for me...this LG also got a 8.3/10 on cnet...its an awesome phone

sometimes the file size doesn't really matter...it could be the speed at which it reads the files...try a smaller kb/s or maybe even a mb/s than teh one you currently usesome phones even limit your ringtone to 30 or even 15 seconds

I have an LG cellphone, I don't know offhand which model but I was able to upload clips of about 12 seconds. In general an MP3 is roughly one megabyte per minute of music.
