VX-8550 Question

I have a VX-8550 and i need to replace the lcd screen. Here is a link on ebay to that item NEW LG VX8550 VX-8550 CHOCOLATE OEM LCD SCREEN PARTS+T6 - (eBay item 110207438316 end time Dec-26-07 18:48:34 PST)

the question i have is...that the description says that this lcd is not compatible with the vx-8550 chocolate 1, but is compatible with the vx-8550 chocolate cdma 2, so what's the difference and how can i tell which one i have?
