I've tried just copying VBA onto my phone but either it doesn't read it correctly or i put it in the wrong folder. Either way, I would like to know if there is any other way to do it.

This is a GBA emulator that works very well for windows mobile based devices. It even has customizable onscreen buttons for the touchscreen in the case that your phone doesnt have enough or comfortable buttons.
