There is no comparison between 5800 and cookie. Both are targeted at different markets and have different price range.

LG cookie is a good choice if price range is lower.

As per my opinion i would suggest u to go for LG KP500 as its very demanding now a days in market than nokia 5800.

The LG KP500 Cookie is a full touchscreen device with a finger user interface and a price tag that won't ruin your budget. It features a 3 megapixel camera and a slick UI. Russell gives us his thoughts on it in this review.

The LG KP500 Cookie is a great device for those who want the appeal of an iPhone for a fraction of the cost.

The site I trust for comparison for cell phone reviews and price comparison when it comes to consumer electronics is alaTest. Below are some links...looks like the cell phone you are considering is highly regarded.

It depends whether 3G is important for you. LG Cookie offers great UI and innovation, but alas, no 3G. If you often use your cellphone as modem, or if you often download things via your phone, then do not consider LG Cookie. Its EDGE will limit your download speed.

Nokia 5800 is not a piece of crap. It is a decent phone, but you can't expect too much from it except the touchscreen experience. But with Nokia, you can find easier customer support
than LG.
