How to unlock LG U900?

I own a LG U900, and it is bought in Italy and accepts only Italian Sim cards. The problem is that i live in Albania and it does not accept it.

what can i do? How can i unlock it to use within Albanian Sim cards. Please someone help me find a solution.

Very strange because sim cards are not usually locked to a certain country. Possible try going to a phone repair shop and ask them to change the sim slot to an albanian one. may cost about $20 for a simple job
