How do I transfer pictures from my LG 8700 phone to my computer?

I would like to use a USB cable that they sell on ebay but just want to make sure that it works, so that I don't destroy my phone. Thanks for all your help.

You'll need to download BitPim and use that software to transfer the pix from the phone to the computer. An easier way is to just click on messages, and send a pix message to your e-mail from the phone.
