Default Is the LG Venus a good phone?

I'm getting a new phone in a few days and I've been reading some reviews. The feeling seemed mixed between good and bad. Is it a durable phone?

Not a bad phone, but you may be much happier with the LG VOYAGER or the VERSA. In my experience, most users prefer these devices and I have less returns of them. Also, they have better battery life and reception too!

I got the Venus about a year ago, and hopefully you'll learn from my mistakes. First of all, invest in a cute silicone case and a pack of screen protectors. The silver paint on the rim of the screen gets flaky if it gets too cold, and since I didn't get a silicone case, it all came off within 3 months. Also, if you are like me, you'll drop it. That is another reason that my silver came off, and there are scratches on it from dropping it. It actually is a pretty awesome phone. The touch screen is pretty good, but sometimes if you try to do 5 million things at once your phone will lock up and turn off. But, if you have the choice to get an enV Touch or the Voyager, they'd be better.
