is the LG voyager phone good for texting?

I am one of those 24/7 text messagers. I was looking into getting verizon's voyager phone. my friend said its bad for texting though. (he does not own the phone) what is your opinion on the phone? thank you. :]

i think it could be hard. my friend has it and i was playing with it and if you text fast i dont think it'll work out
