I bought the LG Shine from AT&T. I thought that the ring tones that they give you suck, so i bought a couple. I cant figure out how to put the ring tone i bought as the ring tones for my text messages, or alert messages. is there anyway that i can do that?

i have that phone.. okay go to music&media, then go into tones&sound, then my ringtones, then chose the ring tone you want to set as a text msg and it should say "set as" in the left soft key,chose that one, then chose Alert sounds and then i think you should be able to get it from there : )..
