Motorola C168i prepaid cell phone?

I have a cingular Sim card and was wondering if i can put it in this phone and would it work?I currently have a sony ericsson Z525a phone by cingular/at&t and i want to purchase the above phone and use my sim card in it. Will it work since the phone is through the same carrier?
