I'm after a non 3G phone. Both of my choice are around the same cost and can both be brought new here in New Zealand. I think that the V3 Razr is the best choice but it's almost four years old. This leaves the W375 which is much newer but seems somewhat basic (too basic).What would be the better phone to choose? (I am mainly using for text messaging but would like some advanced features also)

i don't know what the second phone is, but everyone i know who has the razr hates it. it either falls apart, the screens quit working or they have to get a new battery every few months.

Most carriers are focusing on 3G, so it'll be hard. Neither of those phones will have any "advanced" features, but though it may be old, I like the RAZR. I got great battery life out of it. Its slim, light, stylish, and I liked the cut metal keypad. The camera may not be the greatest obviously. The W375 feels REALLY cheap and its not very pretty to me. The keypad seems a bit harder to use too. It was designed as an economy phone, wereas the RAZR was initially a VERY high end phone. I had a RAZR for about a year (2 years ago), and i dropped, kicked, threw, and stepped on it a million times (accidentally) and even put it through the washer in my pocket, only to have it survive without more than a small scratch on the side. Ironically, the death of my RAZR was a WATER BALLOON.
