so yesterday I found a motorola A630 phone in a parking lot... i turned it on... it says u have to enter the code.... since i dont know the code... can i throw the SIM card away and buy a new SIM card and make it my phone? and also... with the new SIM card, will it still ask for a code? Thanks in advance !and also... what if they ask for my phone number and then when they check it, they will see that it was registered under someone else's name?

yes it will still ask you for a code... what you'll need to do is take it in to a retailed store and tell them that you locked your phone, and you don't know the code.. and they should help you! best of luck!
