I'm not too sure of the exact resolution (1.3MP sounds about right, although that's not the resolution...), but it all depends on the picture quality you select when capturing. Open the camera on your phone and go into the settings. You can probably select between small medium and large (and probably a wallpaper size as well). These all play a factor in the quality and resolution of the pictures you are capturing. Consult your phone's user's guide or the manufacturer's website for more information.
