No sound coming out of Motorola V500- why?

They can hear me fine and when I use the speaker function I can hear them ok. I have tried turning the volume up with the button on the side but this does not work. Any ideas?''''When I get a call I cannot hear the person who is calling, they sound very faint.

I have tried to increase the volume using the button on the side but it shows full volume.

bad speaker... call rmslogistics... they fixed my phone... and mine was ran over by a car!!!!
