How can I get a subsidy password for a Motorola V551 cell phone so I can use
it with the new ATT? I bought a used Motorola V551 cell phone through ebay, and unfortunately the seller did not specify in the auction terms that this phone works only with the OLD ATT Wireless; for users who never switched over to Cingular/the new ATT Wireless.
The phone asks me for a subsidy password when I insert my SIM card for the new ATT Wireless (formerly Cingular).
How do I obtain this password so I can use this phone? Do I call ATT to get the password, do I take it to one of their stores, or do I have to chance using one of those cell phone unlock websites? Help!
